Description of the program:

Our department, which started to teach at Ege Vocational School with technical support of World Bank in 1987-1988 academic year, has been continuing its activities in Aliağa Vocational School since 2014-2015 academic year. The Refinery and Petrochemical Technologies division is a pre-program. Those who complete this program are given the title of eri Refinery and Petrochemical Technician Bu. This program raises qualified manpower to serve as a bridge between chemical engineers and chemists and workers in the refinery and petrochemical industry.

Purpose of Refinery and Petro-Chemistry Program;

 • To carry out the operations to be performed to obtain various petroleum products (gasoline, diesel, diesel, etc.) by refining crude oil in line with the plans of the engineers,

 • By testing the conformity of the additives to be used in the process of obtaining petroleum products to the standards and ensuring their compliance,

 • Taking measures to ensure continuity of the system with fault finding devices,

 • Quality control of petroleum products obtained

 • In summary; The aim of this course is to train qualified personnel who will work in the processing of crude oil and in the production of various petroleum products.
